My name is Gabbie and welcome to my first blog post ever. Like ever-ever.
I am a Junior at MC studying International Relations and Economics and warmly greet you from the country of Japan. I have been here for a little over two months and have a lot to share whilst abroad. I am studying at Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakata City, Osaka, Japan. Similarly the Maryville to Knoxville's metropolis. This is my first experience in Asia and first extended stay in another country.
My pilgrimage to Japan started with the decision to study Japanese at MC. I wanted to challenge myself with a completely new thing and Japanese language seemed to have become the best fit. After four semesters of rigorous study, I was ready to make the Trans-Pacific trek. Fast-forward 18 hours of travel, immence amounts of culture shock, and jet-lag; I have finally made it to Japan. These months have and will produce memories forever marked in my life and I am excited to share it with all who joins me on my journey.
