Hi everyone!
This weekend I went to Nashville with my parents and my friend Ralph. Nashville is one of the bigger cites in Tennessee and it is known for being a country music town. I absolutely agree on that! Nashville is filled with musicians at every bar and every street corner, even if you wanted to you can certainly not get away from the music.
During our stay we went to "The Country Music Hall of Fame" which was really interesting. It cost $20/14.8€/130SEK for students. I promise that it is totally worth the money! I just wish that I knew more about country music before I went there, It was almost too much to take in. However, it was fun to see Elvis Presley's car with 24-karat gold details and his Kimball grand piano in 24-karat gold leaf. He was truly a rich bastard.
The next day we went out to Tennessee's largest outlet mall, Opry Mills Mall, that is a 15 minutes car drive from Nashville center. To all of you shopalcoholics out there l recommend you to go there. Great shopping! Sadly enough we had to leave pretty early because we didn't want to miss the last tour on the Jack Daniels Whiskey Distillery in Lynchburg. However, the distillery tour was amazing and free! Did you know that all of the Jack Daniels Whiskey products are produced at this Distillery!? I didn't! After the tour was over we drove for 3.5 hours back to Maryville.
I am still very excited about being Maryville Colleges International blogger and will try to keep you as updated as possible! Anyway, I not sure what I will be doing on upcoming weekend but I will tell you more about it next week! // Em
