It has been one week since I have come to Nagoya, Japan. It has been amazing. I have already made new friends with many of the exchange students, and I have even made friends with some of the Japanese students despite the language barrier. The one thing that I'm having a problem with is my jetlag, but that is only temporary. If I had to pick one thing that stood out this week it would be being able to attend a firework festival at a shrine. There were many people there and many stands with delicious foods. It's something that I can finally check off my list! My next goal is to go to an authentic sushi restaurant. Fingers crossed!
