Happy early Thanksgiving MC! Being away from home for the holidays is hard but thankfully I've made friends here that make it easier. However, I wouldn't be very American if I didn't celebrate our holidays when abroad and since there are Canadians on campus, and Canada has Thanksgiving, we celebrated! Last Sunday we had our very own multi-cultural Friendsgiving. The countries present were USA, Canada, Germany, Lithuania, Japan, Finland, and the Czech Republic. I made a turkey for the first time ever and thankfully I didn't kill anyone and it was fully cooked. It was nice to celebrate and share our holiday with others. Other than that not much happened this week besides normal classes and school work. Finland is expecting snow over the next couple of days so I am interested to see how much snow Jyväskylä will get.
