A normal week in Jyväskylä

So I don't have much to say on this weeks update. Most of my week was spent working on a lecture diary final paper type deal for one class that ended on September 18th. It was the weirdest class schedule I have ever had. The class ran every day for 1.5 weeks then the following Friday the final paper was due. So now I only have 2 classes until the end of October and they both only meet on Monday leaving the rest of my week free. This past week in Jyväskylä there was the city of lights festival that I went to with another American and a Bulgarian-German. It was a cool festival because everywhere in the city was different light displays and structures. I also participated in a climate march that went to the city center. I went with a group of other international girls so we grouped with a group of Finnish girls who thankfully translated what was being said for us. I visited the small town of Petäjävesi which has a cool old church and beautiful nature surrounding it. I also went to a hockey game surprise surprise. Next weeks update will be more interesting as I am taking a trip to St. Petersburg and Tallinn.
