Jyväskylä, located in the Blue-Lake district of Finland, is a lively city in a beautiful setting of lakes, ridges, parks, and forests. Experience summer festivals and a variety of outdoor activities while taking classes through the Jyväskylä Summer School in Human Sciences. The program offers 12 interdisciplinary courses for advanced undergraduate or graduate students interested in art and culture studies, education, cognitive science, communication, leadership, psychology, sports sciences, or related fields.
Courses to choose from may include Organization and Role of Sport in the EU and its Member States, Finnish Language and Culture, Social Networks and Interpersonal Relations in a Multicultural World, Introduction to Dance Movement Therapy and Other Arts Therapies, Sport Marketing , Psychology of Sport and Exercise Injuries, Working Models in Domestic Violence Counseling .
