Cheap traveling! My dream!

Hiiii!!! Soooo I've had no time (or wifi) to write up my recent blog because I've been seeing the world!  First things first, we went on a spontaneous one day trip to Amsterdam...
I absolutely loved it! The buildings, the life, the land, the food, English language, and of course the bicycles everywhere!! It was a 4 hour bus ride, a little bit of walking then bam, in the central station of amsterdam! We didn't have plans so we just walked all around, checked out a protest at the university and then ate some amazing pizza! The night time was horribly cold and windy.... This made the 4 hours in the train station (no benches, no food, no heat, no bathrooms) horrible. But it was a great and fun experience that I'll definitely remember!

During the week: taught my first lesson!!!!!! I did a math vocab and review in English to a german 6th grade math class! They did excellent! I had so much fun working with them, one kid told me it was the most fun he has ever had in a math class! It was such a great feeling to know I am not going to be a terrible teacher!!

Next thing I did, visited Sarah Potter in Scotland!! The weather sucked when I went and it was colder than Germany for sure. So I will quit complaining about the cold! This week is my vacation days away from the school... So I went to Scotland for spring break and it snowed.  My luck! But it was still gorgeous! Even though we couldn't go do much, it was nice to be around English and friends! One of the highlights of this trip was my hot chocolate from The Elephant House aka "the birthplace of Harry Potter!

Now I'm off to Italy for 4 days! Catch up laters!
