Conquering Fears and Silent Tears

For as long as I can remember, gondolas and bridges have scared me. I have always thought it was because I was just scared of falling, which I am, but I recently discovered it is more likely the height. Once I heard I would have to get on gondolas to reach the top of Mount Titlis, I was pretty horrified; however, there was no chance that I would avoid the gondola and miss out on a once in a lifetime opportunity. The bridge was unnecessary, but I knew I had to experience it. With the help of wonderful friends that offered their hands and arms to latch on to and words of encouragement, I got through it all! A couple of tears fell, and quiet panic fell upon me, but it was all so worth it to experience some of what Mount Titlis had to offer.
