Let the culture begin...tomorrow..

Since my last entry there has not been a whole lot happen.  We have stayed pretty calm here since we are getting ready to leave in the morning to go to Valencia for one of the biggest festivals of the year, Las Fallas.  We went out for the usual Wednesday Erasmus night at Negro Zumbon, sat outside in the beautiful sunshine reading our children's spanish books while getting beautiful farmer's tans, and had many city walks.  It seems like every time we walk throught the center we come upon something different.  There is just something different about walking around in Europe...so much more interesting that in the states.  The weather here is getting beautiful finally so we are super excited to pull out the shorts, dresses and sandals and most of all be able to put away the boots and coats!  Today we walked to La Morea for a bit and it was absolutely gorgeous out.  However, realizing this makes the next 3 months quite dreadful when it becomes outrageously hot and we won't want to go out and take our city walks like we do now.  Oh well...we will cross that bridge when we come to it as we have with so many other things on this journey so far.  While talking to mom tonight on skype she informed me that in only 3 weeks from tomorrow her and Marcia will be leaving the states headed here to see me for the week of Semana Santa.  I cannot believe that it is almost here!  This experience is going to be over before I even know what happened.  Anyways...gotta go finish getting ready for the big trip tomorrow..6 days and 5 nights away...this is going to be nice!  Las Fallas here we come!!
