While doing the Maryville College ESL Program I experienced something that I've always carried in my mind... We are not the country we live in. We are who we are, a person that has a little bit of every culture in us. Our country doesn't have to describe us, neither the stereotypes that society creates. After getting to know a part of what those people are, I realized we are who we want to be if we're brave enough.
