Whenever someone say Americans are egocentric, maybe they are right, but in 3 weeks at Maryville college, I can say they don't act like that. Here at Tenenessee I had contact with a lot of Americans and you feel that they want you to feel accepted by them. They are always very polite and laughing with you. I felt very comfortable around them. However, American culture was not the only one. I had contact with Japanese, Pakistani, Arabian, Chinese, Venezuelan, and people from all over the world. I met them here and this experience I will carry with me until my last day.
