Halfway Over...Spring Break is Here!

Spring is finally here!
MIDTERMS ARE DONE!!! WOO!!

I'm on top of the world!  Midterms are over, and my spring break has started!

I had three midterms today, Thursday, so I've been up for a good bit...like...I didn't sleep last night.  Fun right?  HA!

I'm a little worried because all my midterms count for 30%-45% of my grade, but THEY'RE OVER AND NO ONE CAN TOUCH ME NOW BECAUSE SPRING BREAK IS HERE!!  Can you tell I'm excited?  Yea?  GOOD!

What am I doing for Spring Break you may ask? Well...let me tell you:


  1. I'm leaving for Fez tomorrow (Friday) to meet up with my mother and my aunt!  I HAVEN'T SEEN MY MOTHER IN TWO MONTHS AND I'M UNDERGOING WITHDRAWALS.
  2. We leave Fez for Tangier
  3. In Tangier we hop on a ferry AND GO TO SPAIN!  I'M GOING TO SPAIN!  I GET TO USE MY SPANISH SKILLS THAT I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO USE ONCE HERE IN MOROCCO!  Can you tell I'm pretty pumped?  Good.
  4. We'll be spending three-ish days in Seville and looking at everything cool and fun there!
  5. Then we move on to Madrid for a day
  6. It is here that I leave my mother...SO SAD!  I will be so upset to see her and my aunt go
  7. HOWEVER, I will be hopping on a plane and heading to Brussels to meet my friend Sofie! OH MY GOSH I'M GOING TO BRUSSELS...Where they speak French...oops
  8. After two days in Brussels we're going to Rome (side note: we're only doing this because there were no flights from Brussels to Fez)
  9. We'll be in Rome for like...22 HOURS!  Woo!  And we're doing the old lady bus tour because we want to see everything in the short amount of time that we'll be there.
  10. After our short stay in  Rome, we're heading back to Fez and coming back to school...sad day :(

I'm getting to do so much over my Spring Break, and I'm so excited!  Let me just going out that I'm doing this on the cheap!  My three flights and stay in Brussels (Sof is paying for the one in Rome) is all under $150, so while I'm getting to do a whole bunch, I'm really not spending that much money, and for that, I'm grateful for Ryanair and AirBNB!

Needless to say, I will post a blog with pictures and lots of info ALL about my spring break!  I promise to take all the pictures!  Okay, now I'm off to enjoy the beautiful weather we've been having here!  LATER!
