Last weekend, Tara and I decided to take a trip to Athens, Greece. We stayed there five days total. It was an absolute blast! For one thing, everything in Greece is so affordable. We could eat a three course meal with drinks for under 20 Euros. We went to the beach one day, and the water was unbelievably blue. I could see my Chaco tan clearly even when the water was up to my shoulders! The museums were awesome too. We got to see relics that were almost four thousand years old. It was so cool! We hiked up the mountain to the acropolis and got a great view of Athens from up top.
Greece was amazing, but it feels good to be settling into Berlin. I'm getting more comfortable speaking German everyday, and I have already made so many friends at the IES center. It's hard to believe we have less than a month left!
