The truth is that a lot has happened while I was away. I have tried new things and met new people and experienced a whole new world (thanks Aladdin). In all reality, I do not think that my life is yet complete, however my time in Japan has made me more open minded and added a new dimension to my life. Therefore, I will always advocate for study abroad and travel to Japan. The country has a lot to offer from food to fashion to its temples which adds to its unique culture.
Japan is definitely a place for the adventurous to experience a life much different than one’s own. Not only does it provide aesthetically pleasing sights and views, but also a chance to learn of and interact in a country whose beginnings predate many nations of the world.
Life changes when you are able to understand a joke or song in another language and see the sun rise and set in a land that is not your home. These changes are limitless and words cannot truly describe the feeling.
